We craft this Limited Release bar with beans sourced directly from GoGround Beans and Spices in Kerala, India. As with all our bars we stone grind the nibs to fully develop the unique flavors of the beans, and add our own freshly pressed single origin cocoa butter, resulting in intense flavor and exceptional smoothness.
Go Ground sources their beans from 150 local farmers, paying prices around 25% higher than the local market price. Their staff consists primarily of nine women employed in bean receipt, quality check, fermentation, drying, storage and packaging operations, while two men purchase and pick up fresh beans a farm gate to ensure ripeness and quality.
We make our Limited Release bars in very small batches, and once they're gone they're gone!
