Finely chopped candied orange peel enhances the delightful berry and citrus notes of the Madagascar beans and adds a pleasing crunch. The flavor pairing is an ode to my father, who clandestinely devoured bowls of orange sherbet drizzled with chocolate syrup after he tucked my siblings and me into bed.
